Sun & Storm

A project about mental health awareness

Sun & Storm is a collaboration between Berklee and Emerson on the topic of reducing mental health stigma. It was released in May 2017, in order to respond to mental health awareness month. Mental health issue has always been something that I care about. Seeing things from friends and experiencing mental struggles myself have made me realize how important it is for us to understand that mental health problem can be cured and doesn't define a person. Anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues are like bad weathers, they come and go but never stay for long. It's important for us artists to support each other in this competitive environment to reduce the stigma of mental health issues.

This video is also supported and financially sponsored by the health and wellness center at Berklee. The entire cast and crew are Asian students from both Berklee and Emerson. It was my honor to work with all these fabulous people from both schools. I hope that we have made the Asian community proud.

However, this video is still a very rough version. The song production and video editing aren't perfect, but the goal here is to spread the awareness to let people hear what we want to say and to bring up support among us. Please share the message if you agree on the idea and want to show your support to people around you.

          Thank you!!!
