Linxuan “ Paris” Wu is a flutist, multi-instrumentalist, music therapist, theatrical worker, singer, and songwriter. Born and raised in Shenzhen, China, Paris moved to Concord, NC for high school when she was 16. After high school, she spent a year at Boston University to study psychology before transferring to Berklee College of Music. She earned a Bachelor Degree of Music in Music Therapy and Songwriting with honor in 2019.

Paris joined her elementary school choir at the age of 8 and has been an active member of the choir until the age of 12. She had the opportunity to perform with this very choir group at various student music festivals and competitions throughout the city of Shenzhen, China. This experience, as well as the music knowledge she received, helped her in learning flute when she first picked it up at the age of 10.

While singing made Paris fall in love with music, flute made her start taking music seriously. Studying from Ang Li, one of the best classical flutists in Shenzhen, Paris gained deeper knowledge not only about flute but also about classical music. She sought for more opportunities to make her a better flutist. Her hard work pushed her to be the top of her class. In spring 2008, Paris performed in at the Shenzhen City Concert Hall as the flute soloist along with her middle school concert band -- the youngest band that has ever performed in the City Concert Hall of Shenzhen. In high school, she was invited to play in All-County Honor band twice in Charlotte, NC and performed multiple times for her school assemblies. After serious instrumental studies at Berklee College of Music, Paris is now a multi-instrumentalist who has excellent knowledge on flute, piccolo, guitar, ukulele, piano/keyboard, singing, and percussion instruments.

Paris is a true artist. Her interest goes beyond music and performing. Since sophomore year in high school, Paris has been actively involved in theatre productions, including various student plays, musicals, and concerts. The theatre room back stage is another home to Paris. Her dedication to the stage, and her creative and artistry vision often plays an important role in completing a production. You can always see Paris working behind the scene or back stage, making sure everything is in order before a show. The more she dives into the world of theatre, the more she enjoys it. Paris has been on every position in a theatre position, including director, costume design, lighting design, stage crews, prop manager, and stage manager. Her excellent organization and communication skills made her a great reputation as a stage manager among her peers throughout high school and college.

Paris received a Bachelor Degree of Music in Music Therapy and Songwriting with honor from Berklee College of Music in 2018. She then moved to Los Angeles California to work as a professional music therapist. In 2019, Paris was certified as a Board Certified Music Therapist and Neurologic Music Therapist (MT-BC, NMT). Paris was active in the Greater LA area as a traveling Neurologic Music Therapist and served multiple communities, families, and facilities with her dedication. Paris was a hard working therapist. Her empathy to her clients and patients was highly valued and appreciated by the communities she served, including Children's Hospital Los Angeles, Mewsic Moves, etc. While being a hardworking therapist, Paris also volunteered her time as a production stage manager and assistant director at The Fable Theatre.

Right now, Paris is pursuing a Master degree of Arts in Collaborative Theatre Production and Design at Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, UK.
